VCA was charged with developing design concepts for a large retail space for outdoor sports company Eastern Mountain Sports. The design concept includes iterations with prefabricated metal structure that combines functionality and brand visibility with aesthetics and sustainability. A welcoming entrance and centered skylights create a sense of expanded and flexible space while providing high visibility for the products within the store. Some design iterations included an incorporation of an interactive rock climbing wall.
